A 3-day hunger strike was launched in Hannover, Germany to protest the aggravated isolation against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Kurdistanis from Hannover and Salzgitter set up a tent for the hunger strike in the morning and held a press statement at 13.00.

“FOR PEACE, ÖCALAN SHOULD BE FREE”

DKTM-Hannover Co-chair Ciwan Çewlig demands freedom for Öcalan and that the CPT stop being an accessory to the Turkish state at once. Çewlig also stresses that peace can’t be established unti Öcalan is free.

NAV-DEM member Altun Bischoff pointed out that hegemonic powers are afraid of Öcalan’s ideas.

Martyr Ronahî Women’s Assembly Spokeswoman Alya Ekinci stated that time is up for Erdoğan and added: “Erdoğan will drown in the Kurdish blood he shed.”

“ERDOĞAN AND HIS GANGS WILL LEARN A LESSON”

People who support the demonstration also gave some speeches and stressed the following:

“It’s not just the lands of Kurdistan, liberation based on Abdullah Öcalan’s ideas has started all around the world.

Those who vote for fascist Erdoğan will drag the people into even worse calamities. The people will teach Erdoğan and his gangs a lesson, we believe that.

Kurdistanis must organize, self-defend and resist. We will win this snap election like we did June 7.”
