Kurds and their friends are staging hunger strikes all around the world in protest at the isolation regime imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, inspired by jailed HDP MP Leyla Güven whose fast highlighting the mentioned demand continues since November 7th.
A group of Kurds in Dargaschi district of Saratov in the Russian Federation started a hunger strike action under the leadership of Dargachi People’s Council.
Speaking on behalf of activists, Ismail Yusubov stressed that the Turkish state ignoring the will of the Kurds was totally unacceptable.
Yusubov called on international authorities, the Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) and the United Nations in the first place, to give ear to the demand voiced by hunger strikers all around the world.
