Iraqi media reported that ISIS gangs attacked Iraqi security forces near the village of Imraniye in Wajîhiye district of Diyala around 21.30 last night.

It was stated that ISIS gangs first detonated a mine during the passage of a vehicle and then attacked the security forces and the people with weapons.

Iraqi media announced that 10 soldiers were killed and 25 people were wounded in the attack.

It was reported that all the wounded were taken to Diyala Hospital, with some being in serious condition, while the bodies were sent to Diyala Forensic Medicine.

It was noted that a large number of security forces were dispatched to the scene after the attack, but ISIS gangs quickly fled the scene.
