Khabour Defense Forces Commander Davud Cindo who lost his life as a result of an armed attack on Til Temir road on 21 April has been laid to rest today.

Hundreds bid farewell to the Khabour Defense Forces Commander following a military ceremony and religious duty in Assyrian Church in Misherfe in Hasekê, including Cizire Canton administrators Elizabeth Geyriye, Ekrem Mahşuş, Cizire Canton Human Rights Minister Senherif Barsum, Economy Minister Siham Kiryo, Minister of Martyrs' Families Rêzan Gulu, PYD officials, Yazidi House officials as well as a number of civilians from Kurdish, Assyrian, Arab and Syriac communities.

The statements held at the funeral put emphasis on the importance of a joint struggle against the ISIS gangs, the common enemy of peoples.
