Hunger strikes against the isolation of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan continue with great resolve.
Imam Şiş has reached the 41st day of hunger strike in the city of Newport, Wales.
Şiş has gone on an indefinite hunger strike indefinitely to demand the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Labour Party MP Jessica Morden brought her message of solidarity to Şiş in her visit to the Kurdish Community Center where the activist is carrying out his hunger strike.
Morden stressed that isolation is one of the hardest ways to attack universal human rights.
The Labour MP added that she would soon bring the issue back to the British Parliament and will write to the British Foreign Ministry asking it to write to the Turkish state.
