People in Dargeçit district of Mardin have been targeted by an armed attack after attending the funeral for Bilal Gezer and Sinan Toprak who were killed in an another armed attack carried out by a group of assailants -said to be supporters of Hür Dava Party- against demonstrators marching to greet the Kobanê resistance on Wednesday.

A number of people including Dargeçit co-mayor Sinan Akan have been wounded in an armed attack carried out from the police station targeting the mass after the funeral.

Akan is reported to have been wounded on the arm.
