Tens of thousands of people from all four parts of Kurdistan as well as from abroad have started to flock to Kandil for Newroz celebration, despite the rainy weather.

Carrying the flags of the PKK and the posters of the Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, tens of thousands of people flock to the area in Enze where the Newroz rally will take place. The people who have already reached the area started to perform Kurdish traditional folk dance halay, while thousands of others have left their cars and are trying to reach to the field on foot in muddy roads as it is rainy today in Kurdistan.
