Leyla Güven’s indefinite hunger strike demanding the end of the isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan reached day 78.

In Strasbourg the 14 activists on hunger strike have reached day 39.

Parallel to these hunger strikes, Mustafa Tuzak (Melle) has also been on an indefinite hunger strike in Duisburg for 12 days.

Kurdish people living in the German city are visiting Tuzak to give him morale and support him.

Tuzak is regularly monitored by a doctor who said the hunger striker is rapidly losing weight.

Tuzak said he is determined to continue his action until isolation is lifted.
