Newroz fire lit in Kobanê

Fires were lit out in the streets as part of the celebrations which were organized by Yekitiya Ciwanên Demokrat and attended by asayish (public security) forces. Dancing the traditional Kurdish 'halay' around the fires, youths also celebrated the liberation of their hometown from the inhumane ISIS gangs after six months of historic resistance.
Celebrations lasted till late hours at midnight.
Activities and celebrations to mark the Newroz will continue till the end of 21 March.
