As part of an investigation launched in the southern province of Adana, Turkish police forces conducted an operation against the Revolutionary Party (Devrimci Parti) in Istanbul and Hatay provinces Tuesday morning.

The houses targeted in the operation were searched in detailed and nine members of the party were taken into custody.

Reports suggest that some of the detainees are being held at the anti-terror branch of Adana police directorate.
