Öcalan warns against provocations -FLASH

The delegation of the BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Congress) have returned from İmralı prison where they met Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in the afternoon.

BDP group deputy chairs Pervin Buldan and İdris Baluken, and HDP co-chair in charge of negotiations and resolution process, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, conveyed Öcalan's first message after their return.

Referring to the murder of Reşit İşbilir (35) and Veysel İşbilir (34) who were shot dead by Turkish policeduring a demo in Gever, Hakkari's Yüksekova district yesterday, the Kurdish leader has warned against potential “provocations” in relation to the incident, and conveyed his condolences to the families of two Kurdish civilians, and to the Kurdish people.

The delegation is expected to make a detailed statement in the coming hours.
