Operation Cizire Storm on day 33: 2 more villages liberated
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters have liberated the Mewalih and Kobra villages this morning as part of the Operation Cizire Storm.
The Operation Cizire Storm launched on September 9 from the north of Deir Ez Zor continues on its 33rd day.
SDF fighters advancing on the Mergede branch of the operation liberated the Kobra village today following clashes throughout yesterday. An explosives laden panzer was destroyed by the fighters there.
On the Suwar branch, the Mewalih village to the north of the Suwar town was liberated. 9 ISIS members were killed in clashes in the village.
