People who fled Rojava after ISIS attacks and took refuge in Şırnak and Mardin are continuing to return to their lands, after seeing the developments there.

Refugees from Rojava in Şırnak region apply to the Cizre District Governor's office for permission to return, and are then sent to the border in vehicles. They are met at the border by armed YPG fighters who send them to Derik and other towns.  

Most recently, a large group of people sheltered in Cizre and Silopi have travelled to the border in coaches and minibuses and crossed the Rojava border. YPG fighters meet the returnees on the Rojava side of the border and conveying them to Derik.

It is reported that the return of Rojava residents from Şırnak and Mardin will continue in the coming days.
