PKK’s Duran Kalkan vowed revenge for slain female commanders and 11 guerrillas who were killed during clashes with Turkish army earlier this month.
Female guerrilla commanders Delal Amed and Aze Malazgirt were killed along with 11 guerrillas during clashes with Turkish army in Besta area, Sirnak province.
Speaking to ANF Turkish Service, PKK’s Executive Council member Duran Kalkan vowed revenge for Delal Amed and Aze Malazgirt.
“They might rejoice at the killing of Delal Amed, Aze Malazgirt and our other comrades. But let them not forget that the revolutionaries die one but born thousands. When one of our comrades fell martyr dozens will join the ranks of PKK” Kalkan said.
Kalkan reminded that PKK will enter its 40th year and said that it will be the year of victory in memory of Delal Amed and Aze Malazgirt.
“We call on the murderers of the heroes of Besta led by Delal Amed: don’t rejoice. We will take their revenge. And we will take their revenge soon” Kalkan warned Turkey.
Delal Amed was the commander of YJA STAR, the women’s military wing of the PKK.
