Istanbul police have staged brutal crackdown on demonstrators who wanted to march to the AKP office after gathering in Kadıköy district in solidarity with Kobanê and in protest against ISIS attacks.

According to the reports provided by an ANF correspondent on the ground, demonstrators were attacked after they started sit-in to protest the police blockade not allowing access towards the AKP building where a press conference had been planned to condemn the ongoing attacks of ISIS gangs on the besieged town.

Intense tear gas and pressurized water is being used in the brutal police crackdown which has also left lawyer Tamer Doğan handling the KCK press case injured.
