Five people were killed as police have raided bullets on a car on route in Genç district of Bingöl.

News agencies close to the government alleged that police opened fire on the car as the people in it disobeyed the stop warning.

The Turkish reports also claimed that four out of the five people in the car were PKK (Kurdistan Worker's Party) members ambushed while fleeing the scene of the attack on Bingöl chief of police late Thursday.
