Members of the HDP, Democratic Alevi Association, KESK and TUHAD-FED have been taken into custody in Ankara while Kurdish politician Yavuz Yıldız has been detained in Van city.

Police conducted raids on several houses in Ankara early Monday morning and detained several people who include
HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Party Assembly member Ahmet Kaya, Democratic Alevi Association Mamak branch President Hasan Altun, KESK (Confederation of Public Workers’ Unions) members Ciwan Yıldırım and Rona Temelli and TUHAD-FED (Federation of Associations of Solidarity and Legal Aid for Families of Prisoners) Ankara representative Hava Özcan.
Arrest warrants have been also issued against HDP Central Executive Board (MYK) member Atiye Eren and journalist for Azadiya Welat, Barış Boyraz whose houses and workplaces were similarly raided in the operation.
The number of detainees is expected to increase.

Kurdish politician Yavuz Yıldız was taken into custody at a search point at the entrance of Van city, and taken to gendarmerie station.
