Mayors and executives of municipalities in West Kurdistan visited the main Kurdish city Diyarbakır to attend the “Conference for the Meeting of Local Administrations in the Process of Building Peace” organized by the Union of Southeastern Anatolia Region Municipalities (GABB).

The Rojava delegation included Sema Beştaş, mayor of largest West Kurdistan city of Qamishlo, Finance Executive Halepçe Xalil, deputy mayor of Amude Berivan Yunus, Salih Seydo, executive of the Municipality of Bülbül, a district of Efrin, Behmend Hasan of Cenderis Municipality and Nurşan Hüseyin of Şiye Municipality.

The delegation also visited the Amed Commission for Rojava where they were informed about the works aimed at supporting the people in Rojava. Speaking during the visit, commission member Mazhar Zümrüt said that they were making every effort to provide humanitarian aid for the people of Rojava involved in a dignified struggle amid great challenges.

Rojava delegation said  they paid the visit to witness the people's service experiences on site.
