West Kurdistan Autonomous Administration's public security (asayesh) forces announced that they have released 54 detainees between 1 and 12 December. The statement by public security forces said that the release of the detainees has been performed upon the decision of the Rojava Court of Justice.

Many people have recently been arrested by Rojava public security forces for aiding the al-Qaeda affiliated groups and being involved in the attacks against Kurds in western Kurdistan territory.
