SDF fighters participating in the Operation Cizire Storm have launched cleaning operation in Begara village they liberated from ISIS yesterday evening, seizing ammunition and corpses of ISIS gangs.
YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are making further advances in the Operation Cizire Storm they launched on September 9 to liberate Deir ez-Zor territory from ISIS.
The fighters launched cleaning operations in the village of Begara, 21 km southeast of Deir ez-Zor, they liberated from ISIS Wednesday evening. A large quantity of ammunition belonging to ISIS gangs was seized in the village, including BKC weapons, Kalashnikov rifles, mortar shells and suicide vests, in addition to the corpses of 8 ISIS members.
Several hamlets, villages and towns have been cleansed of ISIS during the Operation Cizire Storm ongoing since September 9. Thousands of civilians in the liberated areas have been evacuated to secure areas by the SDF forces.
