SDF making advances in Deir ez-Zor

After relaunching operation Cizre Storm, SDF is taking control of wide areas.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue to report progress in the Operation Cizire Storm, which has been relaunched in the rural areas of Deir ez-Zor near the Syrian-Iraq border.

The SDF, which is positioned one kilometer from to the Euphrates River, has also neutralized the mines left in the area by the gangs.

The SDF forces were four kilometers from Bakos village, next to the Euphrates River.

The Operation Cizire Storm, which had been halted due to attacks by the occupying Turkish state on Afrin, was launched again on 1 May.

Two military vehicles belonging to DAESH (ISIS) gangs were destroyed on Monday, and a wide area in the region has been taken under control.
