The ‘Operation Cizire Storm’ launched to liberate the remaining area outside of Syria’s liberated Cizire and Eastern Euphrates lands and to clear the eastern rural areas of Deir ez-Zor, continues.
The YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have rescued hundreds of civilians from ISIS terror in northern Deir ez-Zor.
These civilians were transferred to liberated areas where they were met by YPG-YPJ fighters.
Footage by YPG Press Office shows civilians thanking the SDF fighters for liberating them from ISIS, saying: “We are now safe and happy.”
