The Turkish regime increasingly continues its political genocide practices against the Kurdish population.

The political genocide operation launched in Batman city centre and Gerçüş district yesterday morning, in which more than 10 people were detained, has continued today.

Police forces carried out raids on many houses last night as part of the same operation.

Those detained in today’s operation include Sabri Özdemir, Co-mayor of Batman Municipality from the Democratic Regions’ Party (DBP).
