Six ISIS members captured in Iraq

Six ISIS members have been captured alive in Nineveh city of Iraq.

According to Iraqi security sources, six ISIS members were arrested in different parts of Nineveh province on 16-18 May.

In a statement, Brig. Gen. Yahia Rasool, spokesperson for the Security Media Center, said the military intelligence department “managed to arrest two militants while sneaking via the Iraqi-Syrian borders coming from Tal Hemis in Syria.”

In a separate incident north of Mosul on Friday (May 18), the Iraqi Security Media Center said the police command in the town of Tal Keif arrested four members of ISIS who “confessed to committing crimes against innocent civilians and security members.

The Center said the four were wanted for justice based on the Iraqi anti-terrorism law.
