Soldiers open fire on people: 1 killed, 13 wounded

An eight-year-old child was killed and 13 people were wounded as Turkish soldiers opened fire on thousands of people who have gathered at two sides of the Qamishlo-Nusaybin border in the evening.

Thousands of people gathered in the city of Qamishlo and marched to the Nusaybin border in protest at the ongoing attacks of ISIS gangs on Kobanê with the support of the Turkish state. The march to the border was also joined by executives of the Cizre Canton Democratic Autonomoous Administration. Thousands on the Nusaybin side also marched to the border in the evening.

Turkish soldiers attacked the people firing tear gas and opening fire as the mass responded to the attack with stones.

Eight-year-old Beşîr Remezan Arîf (Beşîr Mirîşko) was killed and 13 people were wounded in the attack.
