About 30 women performed the protest song "Un violador en tu camino" (A rapist in your path), first created by the Chilean feminist  group Las Tesis and then adopted by women worldwide.

During the demonstration in front of the Turkish consulate in Hamburg on Tuesday, the group displayed signs with the names of women arrested in Turkey and ended the performance with the slogans "Jin Jiyan Azadi" and "Freedom for women in Turkey".

The reason for staging the action in front of the Turkish consulate was the repression against women in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. There, the performance against patriarchal violence was attacked by the police and several women were arrested.
