The commemoration for MLKP fighter Ivana Hoffmann (Avaşin Tekoşin Güneş) who lost her life in Cizirê Canton of Rojava on 7 March has started with a march participated by thousands of people in the German city of Duisburg.
The commemoration for MLKP (Marxist Leninist Communist Party) fighter Ivana Hoffmann (Avaşin Tekoşin Güneş) who lost her life as a result of ISIS attacks in Cizirê Canton of Rojava, West Kurdistan, on 7 March has started with a march participated by thousands of people in the German city of Duisburg.
PYD (Democratic Union Party) Co-president Salih Muslim, HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Co-president Figen Yüksekdağ as well as representatives of left-wing and democratic mass organizations in Germany and Turkey are attending the ceremony which has been organized by TJK-E and SKB.
Following the march and commemoration ceremony, Hoffmann will be laid to rest in the cemetery where soldiers of the Red Army martyred during the Second World War are buried.
