Turkish police have taken three people into custody in Urfa's Ceylanpınar district on Wednesday morning following fierce clashes in the bordering Serêkaniyê city in Rojava, West Kurdistan, last night.

The three detainees, one reportedly named İsmail Işık, have been taken to the police headquarters in Urfa. The reason for the detentions is not known yet.
