According to reports coming through, three people have been wounded in an explosion near the Koşuyolu Sunay Street in Diyarbakır's Bağlar district.

A number of armored vehicles, police officers and ambulances have been sent to the scene.

The explosion has reportedly been caused by a homemade bomb.

An eyewitness who spoke to ANF said that "I was at the scene when the explosion occurred. A child aged 17-18 lost a hand of his and his face was drenched in blood".

One of the wounded has been rushed to Diyarbakır public hospital and two others to Dicle University Hospital. Police continue investigating the scene.
