Turkish-Greek company occupied in protest against isolation

In the Greek capital, Athens, a group of Kurdish and Greek youth carried out an action and occupied a Turkish-Greek logistic company to protest the isolation of Ocalan in Imrali prison.

Members of the Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoresger) along with Greek anarchists occupied a Turkish-Greek company in an action to protest the aggravated isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The protesters said that their action was aimed at raising awareness about the hunger strike campaign in Kurdistan, Turkey and abroad. A large banner was hung on the company building, while Kurdish and Greek slogans were chanted.

The protesters made a statement and urged the international organizations and the government of Greece not to ignore the Kurdish hunger strikers. “We are in solidarity with the activists on hunger strike,” their statement said.
