The AKP/Palace regime’s threats and attacks against the gains of the Kurdish people continue.
Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan’s Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın issued a statement and said all preparations are complete for a possible operation to invade Efrîn.
Kalın said: “If necessary, we will enter Efrîn. All preparations for an operation have been completed. Turkey will intervene when and where we see fit for our own security.”
On the no-clash zones decided in the Astana talks with Russia and Iran, Kalın said: “The framework on how to implement this zone was determined in meetings with Russia and Iran. Aerial attacks have stopped. We have extended great efforts to keep it this way.”
Kalın argued that the referendum held in Southern Kurdistan on September 25 aims to fracture Iraq and said: “We have issued the necessary warnings. We will approach the issue in a positive manner if there is a stepback.”
