One Turkish soldier has been killed after Kurdish guerrillas took action on a military outpost in Northern Kurdistan, Turkish media reported.

A further five soldiers were injured in the action which took place the town of Cukurca in Hakkari province.
According to local sources, Kurdish guerrillas hit Turkish military positions in Koordine Hill, which is located on the border with Turkey and Iraq. Several ambulances rushed to the scene after the attack.
There is no statement on People’s Defence Forces (HPG) side about the action.
