People's Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM reported in a written statement that the operation to liberate Sinjar continued.

According to the statement, guerrilla units carried out an action against the ISIS gangs in the town of Taxa Minare in Sinjar town early this morning. Two members of the ISIS gangs were killed.

HPG-BIM stated that guerrillas have seized the corpses of four more gang members, including that of an ISIS field commander (amir) by the name of Ebu Abdurrahmen, who were killed in clashes yesterday.

Guerrillas also seized arms and munitions of the gang groups.
