Within the third week of intensified attacks on Kobanê, the ISIS gangs have in recent days started to launch attacks on the Kobanê (Mürşitpınar) border crossing as well. With these attacks, the gangs are reportedly aiming to take the border crossing in order to complement the encirclement of the town before committing a massacre against the local people, and to block the access of humanitarian aid into the town.
ANHA, Hawar News Agency, correspondents on the ground have reported that the fighting between YPG fighters and ISIS gangs have got fiercer at noon today.
Intense clashes on the eastern front have spread to the south where gangs are reportedly preparing for a new wave of attacks. Correspondents also report that the gangs have concentrated their attacks on the border crossing since early today.
