The US has announced that it has sent arms and medical supplies to Kobanê by air from the Federal Kurdistan Region.  

US Central Command (Centcom) said aircraft had made “multiple drops of arms, munitions and medical supplies to Kobanê,” which is under siege from ISIS. The statement said the supplies had been provided by the Kurdish authorities in the Federal Kurdistan Region.

CentCom added that US forces had conducted more than 135 air strikes against ISIS in Kobane.
