Visitors continue to pay their respect to Leyla Güven

Kurdish politician Leyla Güven is on day 90 of her hunger strike against the isolation of Öcalan.

HDP Hakkari MP Güven has been released from prison and continues the hunger strike she began on 8 November at her house.

Güven has been on hunger strike for 90 days demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The hunger strike led by Güven has been claimed by hundreds of prisoners in Turkey and Kurdistan, and dozens of activists in Kurdistan, Europe and even Canada.

Leyla Güven has been visited at her house in Amed by many politicians, artists, academics and common people. They all stand under her window chanting and applauding.

Among the visitors were HDP deputies Imam Tascier, Ebru Gunay, DTK co-chair Berdan Ozturk.
