The Turkish state has carried out intense bombardments compared to the previous ones. Guerrilla Ruken Dilgeş noted that the Turkish state attacked both guerrilla and civilian areas deliberately.

Guerrilla Dilgeş said: “Xantur started to be bombed on the night of 16 June. Although the Turkish army hit the area at least 50 times a day, we never lost. The enemy, even in its own press, said ‘we still haven't been able to identify where terrorists are coming from.’ The first two nights they came with Cobra helicopters and wanted to airdrop soldiers. We hit them and we hit the helicopters three times, so they had to airdrop troops on the high hill. We still did not allow them to go one step further. We are still in conflict, and we will not allow them to advance.”

Guerrilla Dilgeş added: “When we came through bodies during the clashes, we realized that half of them were village guards. The Turkish army does not come and take them, but the village guards are still fighting against us. The bodies are still on the ground.”
