At least 12 members of the ISIS gangs were killed yesterday as YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) fighters continued their offensives against the gang groups in Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava.

YPG Press Centre said in a statement about yesterday's fighting in Kobanê that the attacks of ISIS gangs aiming to occupy the town continued on the 72nd day.

The statement said the YPG/YPJ fighters who are writing history with a glorious resistance are continuing their offensives against the gang groups that are resorting to mortar attacks targeting the city center after failing to gain an advantage over Protection Units in the battle field.

YPG Press Centre stated that short-time fighting raged out on the eastern front last night when 8 members of the gangs were killed and 4 others wounded in clashes.

According to the statement, 4 other members of the ISIS gangs were killed as result of an offensive that targeted a position formerly occupied.
