YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Centre has said in today's statement about the ongoing fighting in Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava, that the attacks of ISIS gangs aiming to occupy the town continued on the 80th day.

The statement reported that YPG/YPJ fighters continued their offensives against the gangs that have been forced to retreat to defense position on the eastern front.

YPG Press Centre remarked that offensives were carried out against some points formerly occupied by the gangs around the Culture and Art Centre on the southeastern front last night, leaving at least 9 members of the gangs dead.

YPG/YPJ units who are strengthening their domination and making further advances on the southern front launched an offensive last night, taking control of two more streets and killing at least 13 gang members in the battle. Corpses of 5 ISIS militants were also seized.

The statement added that 1 YPG/YPJ fighter has fallen fighting in clashes.
