24 members of ISIS gangs were killed in clashes in Kobanê and Cizîrê Canton of West Kurdistan, Rojava.

YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Centre said that the resistance against the ongoing attacks of ISIS gangs on the western boundaries of the Cizîrê Canton continued.

YPG reported that Defense Units launched an attack against the gang groups near the village of Xebîş in Til Temir early this morning. A vehicle of the gangs, with militants inside, was destroyed in the attack after which Defense Units also hit and repelled the gang groups that came to the scene for intervention. 7 gang members were killed in clashes in the area.

YPG said that two other gang members were killed as a result of another attack in which gang groups deployed near the Til Nasir village to the west of Til Temir were targeted today noon.

15 gang members killed in Kobanê

Also providing information regarding the operations and clashes in Kobanê, YPG Press Centre said that the resistance against the occupation attempt of ISIS terrorist organization continued for the 193rd day.

According to the statement, the operation launched by Defense Units against the Sepeta Ereban village to the south of Kobanê the day before is going on. YPG/YPJ have taken control of the hills overlooking the village where clashes are continuing in some areas. The exact number of ISIS casualties couldn't be ascertained, while the corpses of 10 ISIS members were seized.

Separate clashes broke out upon the response of Defense Units to an attack carried out by ISIS groups near the village of Derfilît southeast of Kobanê last night. 5 members of the gangs were killed in the fighting after which gang groups fled the battlefield, YPG Press Centre added.
