YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) have launched an offensive against ISIS gang groups in the village of Minîfê Avî to the southeast of Kobanê Canton of West Kurdistan, Rojava.

According to the information provided by reporters on the ground, the offensive is being carried out as part of the “Martyr Hogir and Mendikê Martyrs Revenge” operation which was started yesterday evening.

Heavy clashes are continuing in the village which has been encircled by Defense Units.
