YPG releases names of Kurdish fighters killed in clashes
Western Kurdistan's People's Defense Units Press Office YPG-BIM has released the names of 12 YPG fighters and two public security officers who have died in the last one week of clashes in Serêkaniyê, Til Koçer and Tal Abyad.
YPG-BIM said that eight YPG fighters and two public security officers lost their life in clashes which broke out after al-Qaeda linked gang groups' attack on Serêkaniyê on 14 September. These are; Dilo Ferec (Êrîş Gerzan), Zekeriya (Avareş), Muslim (Canfîda Kobanê), Raid Mio (Raid), Bengîn Xedîca (Rêzan), Mihemed Muslim (Canfida Kobanê), Yilmaz Mihemed (Goran), Ednan Xelîl (Bilind Kobanê) and public security officers Ehmed Ebdulqadir and Xalid Hesen.
Other YPG fighters Ibrahim Xelil (Mazlûm Qermox) and Bozan Nuh (Serxwebûn Kobanê) lost their life in clashes in the Sûsik village of Tal Abyad (Girê Sipî), Mihemed Osman Berekat (Berxwedan) in Til Îd village of Qamişlo and Lokman Mihemed in the Girhok village of Til Koçer.
Kurdish fighters Mihemed Seîd, Dilo Ferec, Yilmaz Mihemed and Zekeriya have been laid to rest in Dirbêsiyê and İbrahim Xelîl in Kobanê following funeral ceremonies joined by thousands.
