Revolutionary Communards Party/United Freedom Forces (DKP/BÖG) issued a written statement on the victory against the isolation today.

The statement pointed to the resistance in prisons and in cities of Turkey, Kurdistan and Europe and said, “We will uphold in our struggle the memory of comrades Zulkuf Gezen, Ayten Becet, Zehra Saglam, Medya Cinar, Yonca Akici, Sirac Yuksek, Mahsum Pamay, Umit Acar and Ugur Sakar who turned their own bodies into a protest to end the isolation.”

“UNITED REVOLUTIONARY RESISTANCE LINE FORMED”

The statement included the following:

“Socialist prisoners and our comrades in the party cause who joined the active resistance to end the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Ocalan have organized the comradery that will take the united struggle for revolution one step further and insist on the united revolutionary line we formed with the Kurdish revolution. They built a united revolutionary resistance line in prisons.

Now we promise the working class and the oppressed peoples that we will take the line of resistance of the thousands of prisoners to the frontmost areas of struggle to tear down fascism. We will prevail!”
