According to sources in Afrin, gangs under the invading Turkish army have been forcing civilians from Afrin to collaborate with them by force, and abducting those who refuse. Ismail Cawis from the Bilbile district’s Qeregule village was tortured and had his leg broken because he refused to collaborate.

Meanwhile, sources say the invading Turkish state and their allied gangs have abducted many young people from the Kutana, Xililaka and Sexurze villages and that none of the fates of the abductees is known.
