The human shield action carried out by the villagers of the Kobanê border village of Qere Mox continues for the 9th day.

The action is to protest against the threats issued by the Turkish state to occupy Northern Syria.

Activists are receiving visits by representatives of civil society organizations and political parties in the region and by members of the council.

Xerîb Hiso, co-chair of the Steering Committee of the Democratic Society Movement, was among those visiting the human shield activists.

He said that the Turkish state targeted the common will of the peoples that became a reality through the project of a democratic nation.

Hiso emphasized that the human shield action demonstrated the commitment and determination of the people for their land and values.

Hiso also underlined the ongoing Turkish government human rights violations and plunder carried out in Afrin. He added that Turkey wanted to destroy the achievements reached with the revolution by attacking other regions.
