HPG reports Turkish airstrikes on Gare, Xakurke and Heftanin

The occupant Turkish state continues its genocidal attacks against the Kurdish people in North, West and South Kurdistan.

HPG (People’s Defense Forces) Press Office released a statement providing information about the most recent attacks carried out by the Turkish army in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

According to the statement, Turkish warplanes bombed the following areas in guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones at 18:40 on December 16;

- Surroundings of Meyroke village in Gare region,

- Çıl û Çar Valley and Kanireş areas in Xakurke.

On December 14, Turkish jets shelled Keşan area in Heftanin region.

HPG stated that the bombardments did not result in casualties among guerrillas but caused material damage on the vineyards and orchards of the local people.
