Manbij people protest Turkish occupation threats

People of Northern Syria continue their protests against the Turkish state that threatens to occupy the region.

Manbij people continue their Vigil in the neighborhood of Al-Hazawne to protest the threats issued by the Turkish state to invade Northern and Eastern Syria.

The demonstration is taking place in a tent set up at the Sabi Behrat junction. Dozens of people are visiting the tent every day to support the activists. 

Speaking on behalf of the Manbij Democratic Civil Administration, Adil Mihemed stressed that they would resist against the forces wanting to occupy Manbij, that was liberated from the DAESH mercenaries with the blood of the martyrs.

Speaking on behalf of the Manbij Military Council, Enter Hisên said that they took their strength from the will and resistance of the people.

He added that they have achieved great victories through the resistance of the people: “The will of the people is the path leading to victory.”

Speaking on behalf of the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration, Receb al-Musrif stresed that the resistance of the people will continue to counter the threats of the Turkish state as they have countered the terrorists’ threats.

Women's Council executive Hena al-Şerîf and Eqîl Herdos on behalf of the youth organizations, Hind Dagistanî of the Circassian Association, Mihemed El-lerisa, executive of the Education Committee, and Cahid Hesen, executive of the Syrian Future Party, spoke at the action.

In the speeches, calls were made to the people of the region against the threats of occupation.
