MSD: Working for the people

“Some international states and foreign powers want to destroy the peace and security in the region, so our people must be alert to respond to these conspiracies.”



The Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) met with the people of the town of Kisra to evaluate the latest developments in the region and listen to the demands of the people of the region.

The meeting was attended by hundreds of people from the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, as well as tribal sheikhs and leaders, Deir ez-Zor Civil Council co-chair and council members.

The meeting started with a minute silence followed by a speech delivered by MSD co-chair Riyad Derar. “We have reached important achievements as to honor and defense of the country”.

Derar added: “Some international states and foreign powers want to destroy the peace and security in the region, so our people must be alert to respond to these conspiracies.”



Hesen Mihemed Eli, member of the MSD Political Council, said: “Foreign states are trying to emerge in our regions. Events in Raqqa and Girê Spî are proof of this. Therefore, we must strengthen our unity to counter these dirty plans. On this occasion, I would like to thank the sheikh and leaders who played a big role to counter these plans. It is our duty to protect the achievements reached with the martyrs' blood”.



Xesan al-Yusif, co-chair of the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council answered to the participants' questions about service activities and training. “We will soon complete 45 schools and we will repair damaged schools. In addition, 34 water stations will be operational. We will try to provide the best service to the public”.
