People of Ayn Isa protest Turkish attacks, US decision, isolation

Demonstrations against the Turkish attacks on Rojava, isolation of Öcalan and US decision against PKK are spreading.

People in Ayn Isa town in Gire Spi organized a march to protest against the occupant Turkish state’s attacks on Northern Syria, the aggravated isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan by the Turkish regime and the US decision to put a bounty on three senior executives of the PKK, Murat Karayılan, Cemil Bayık and Duran Kalkan.

The protest march was joined by civilians, young people, teachers, students and representatives of civil society organisations.

Demonstrators carried posters of Öcalan, flags of YPG/YPJ (People’s/Women’s Defense Units) and SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) and banners condemning the attacks and occupation attempts against Northern Syria.

The march turned into a rally at the Youth Junction where Emani El-Rasi from the Syrian Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement and Suzan from the Council of Martyrs’ Families held speeches.

Speakers stressed that the people of Northern Syria will never bow to the Turkish state and will resist against attacks to the very end.
