Revolutionary Youth hit factories and workplaces

Factories and workplaces set on fire to protest against the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan.

The Revolutionary Youth Movement (DGH) Coordination announced that actions have been taken to smash the heavy isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

DGH stated that two factories and two workplaces were burned down as part of its protest.

The DGH issued a statement detailing the actions.

Istanbul

“On 10 December, a 3-storey factory producing Plastic Injection in Maltepe, Istanbul was burned down by the Martyr Baran Mawa Vengeance Unit. In this action, the factory was completely destroyed.

On 14 December, Martyr Baran Mawa Vengeance Unit has set on fire a factory producing sponges in Arnavutköy, Istanbul. This factory was completely destroyed in the action.

Antalya

On 11 December at 9 pm, a workplace in the district of Kemer, Antalya, was set on fire by Martyr Harun Serhed Vengeance Unit. In this action, one workplace was completely destroyed, while two others suffered material damages.

Izmir

On 14 December, Martyr Nuda Elefterya Vengeance Unit set on fire a construction company selling construction materials in the borough of Alaçatı, Çeşme (Izmir). The workplace was completely destroyed."

The DGH statement added: “These actions have been carried out by the Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Revolutionary Young Women's Movement to protest against the attacks on our people, and the isolation regime imposed on Öcalan.

We call on the revolutionary, democrat and patriotic youth to oppose colonialism and fascism wherever they are.”
